JANUARY FAVOURITES

Welcome to my first Favourites Blog Post :) I'm hoping to do these every month from now on, let me know what you think?

Lets kick start it with something I already blogged about at the beginning of the month

Its my mini skincare routine that I've got going on at the minute with my Nivea products. I use these every other day and absolutely love them still.
I'm using the exfoliating scrub in the shower on an evening, which is clearing my skin and making my face feel refreshed!
I did start with using the cleanser and toner straight after, but now I'll use it the morning after which is working for me! Everyone has a different skincare routine, don't they?
I've found with using this in the morning it makes my face really soft and cleansed for the day. Sometimes defeating the object I put make-up on not long after. But, its nice to put onto a smooth clean base.

Something else I have been raving about for quite sometime is my Maybelline 'The Nudes' eyeshadow palette. Do you have one?
You can see from the picture that some shades have been used more than others as when I first got it, I went for a bronze smoky eye nearly all of the time. Over the last couple of weeks I have been playing around with the other colours, coming out with a black smoky eye and a shimmery subtle grey which is a really good day look :)
I've got my eye on a new Max Factor eyeshadow palette '03 Rose Nudes' it has some purple shades that I want to give a try. Suppose to be a good shade for Green eyes.
Can you recommend any other eye shadow palettes to try? What's your
favourite?

I also invested in a Nude lipstick 'Rimmel by Kate No 38' as I only have red ones and wanted to change it up abit and have more choice. I love this one, its such a simple colour and goes on so well.  I honestly think it could suit anyone, you can either where it matte, which is a light pink on me. However, I often just pop just Vaseline over the top just to give it that shine and give some extra moisture to my lips. Do you have a favourite lipstick?

Seen as I'm such a lover of perfume, thought I would share with you what fragrance I have been grabbing this month.
Calvin Klein 'Beauty' seems to have been my go to this month, nearly everyday I wear it, as you can see as its nearly gone, I'll definitely be purchasing some more. Its such a wonderful strong flowery smell. I love the shape of the bottle too, it always looks good on a shelf or wherever you like to store your smellies.
My poor bottle is abit battered and bruised now as a pen leaked all over it on my bag (sadface)
Those who know me, know that I'm a sucker for always carrying around body sprays and perfumes. I have so many in my bag its unreal haha but always a good selection.

And Finally, this is my beautiful jewellery holder that I received for Christmas, I have it hanging on the side of my wardrobe and looks really pretty.
Its so much easier to store most of my jewellery now as before I was getting all my necklaces in a twist inside a drawer. Not now, yay!
I also really love the copper gold colour, but its an easy material you can spray paint if you don't like it or fancy a change up in the future, which knowing how I can be, this is highly likely.
This can be found on, notonthehighstreet, such a fun and quirky website.

Let me know in the comments below what your favourite items have been this month!?

HMMM DARK CIRCLES....SECOND ATTEMPT!

So got myself a cup of tea before I began writing as just so cold today, thought it would keep me warm in the meantime :)

But, back to the real reason I'm writing this blog, at the beginning of the year I finally chose some eye patches to try and reduce these hideous dark circles of mine! I gave them a try, to see what happened clicking, First Attempt

As I said in the first post, I'm not one to give up and I will retry things, so on that note I gave 'eyetreat SPA by Masque Bar, dark circle reducer' another chance last night!
I did as instructed on the back of the packaging, cleanse your face to remove all dirt etc. To do this, I exfoliated and cleansed my face with 2 of my favourite Nivea products.
-Daily essentials gentle Exfoliating Scrub &
- Daily essentials 2 in 1 Cleanser and Toner
You can find these in Boots Drugstore and most other supermarkets.

So I popped them under the eyes covering all of the dark patches, which again felt really strange and cold, then began tingly as thought they were beginning to do something :) then I just carried on with my evening.

Last time I only wore them for the minimal recommendation of 30 minutes, this time I thought I'd go with all night and see if that worked with it being so much extra time to work the magic!

This was my night time look last night, so cool right!? haha
I managed to sleep with them on just fine, couldn't really tell once I was asleep.
So I took them off this morning all full of hope that something had changed. but again unfortunately these didn't work for me and my dark patches were still as dark as they always are. So I guess these aren't the product for me and its time to look for something else, or maybe its just my skin? who knows, but I'm sure I'll find out one day

I'm glad that I gave them a go twice as it gives you a 100% insight into if a product works or not. Never give up after the first try and I will be doing that with any products I buy until I find the right one that suits me

WEEKLY WONDERS - SLEEPY

18hours and counting...that I have been awake - just feeling really tired right now writing this but I'm gonna give it ago :) #dedicated
Apologies for the delay, wish you all a lovely morning read when I have plans to publish this:)

So I'll kick it off with saying last weeks dinner lasted wayy longer than expected and my friend and I ended up having a cocktail night which was really enjoyable :) you can see the full nights shenanigans here - MOMMYS BEEN OUT

Monday was big shop day, I love doing the big shop, don't know why - I just do :) Alex enjoys it too, spends a lot of time trying to convince me to buy things by picking them up off the shelves haha.
I got myself some fruity Granola after trying it recently and I've got to say I love it with some strawberry yoghurt but will be trying different flavours too- I think blueberry is next in line!

I've also found myself reaching for lighter shades of eyeshadow this week fro my 'Maybelline the Nudes' palette. I've been mixing a shimmery white and a light grey, which is making a shimmery grey look. Although its only a very subtle shade (and cant pick up in pictures too well either!) I think its a really nice day look and can also be good for work make up, I've been doing this with my ink and mascara to complete the eye look. It's not as full on as a smoke eye. But, of course nothing wrong with a smokey eye, still one of my favourite looks!

This Thursday found me doing a round trip from Nottingham to Cambridge for a work thing! Got up at 4am and still awake now at 23:10pm - so tired and I need to be up again in 6 hours, long few days for me (crying face)
Doing the journey really has made me want a car of my own so I have the freedom to go anywhere. I need to action this soon! I enjoy travelling its always nice to see nice things (views, animals, etc) and how different places live. I saw so many bike riders on the roads in Cambridge and it was just a normal thing. Here in Nottingham, its not so normal and a lot of road rage happens towards the bikers. Certainly would be a bonus with Alex as there would be so much more things we could do!

But I can tell you I'm now a First Aider again.....haha! Although nothing makes me more nervous, but who knows how the situation may present itself if it ever does when these skills need to be put in place, right?

Thought this picture was really fitting!
Alex has also recovered really well from his chest again and is back running rings around me, just the way I like it haha :)

ps - sorry not a lot of content or pictures this week, not much happening in my boring life and was a quick write up and was very late with it this week! Keep posted for Blog Posts this weekend

SUNDAY KITCHEN

do you have this book?
It feels like such a long time since I did some home cooking for us all, so thought today I would change that.
Got out my Jamie Oliver book to see what I could do with the bits I have in the house seen as its big shop day tomorrow! Who else has a big shop day btw? I opted for the potato and pea puff pie.
The shop didn't have any puff pastry so had to go with shortcrust, big mistake that was haha, as it all broke so now I'm using it to dip into the dinner! I think its a good idea though works well.
Dinner was no longer a pie but a baked stew haha, smelt amazing!

I started by chopping the onion and peeling and chopping the potatoes into thin strips. Then popping the onion on to fry for about 10 minutes. Then added the potatoes, some frozen peas, vegetable stock, garlic powder, flour and butter. Left to simmer till was thick and creamy.

To the right is what it looked like mid way through when the butter had just melted. After leaving it took cook for a little longer it went thick and the stock was all soaked up.
As I didn't have any pastry to make it into a pie, once I transferred it into a pyrex dish I added on some golden breadcrumbs and popped in the oven for about 7 minutes. This just added a bit of a crunchy layer on top.

Now I've eaten it  I can say its one of the best meals I've ever done, I will actually be doing this again, maybe give the pie option another try :)

Alex and I did make dessert today too, some Lemon cupcakes, which were also really nice. Alex scoffed his! Its only within the last 6 months or so I've been baking as I've never really been good at it. The first ever cupcakes I made were disgusting haha, so things have definitely improved as i can now eat them instead of going straight in the bin!

I just used a simple cupcake recipe; adding caster sugar and butter together, then adding the eggs, flour and baking powder to a mixing bowl. This works best for me, but everyone has there own little ways. Alex loves baking as he likes to help mix the ingredients together and is always standing next to me to watch what's going off. As he gets older I'll get him to help with other things too. Do your children like baking?
Anyway, I'm going off tangent haha I added half of a lemons juice and grated in some lemon zest to add the flavouring. Now I'll be honest it wasn't very lemony but I didn't want it to be too sour, so I know for next time to add more. All about trial and error with me!
Once all mixed in and placed in the cake tins, they were put in the oven on 180c for about 20 minutes. I've got to say these are the best ones I've made so far as they were just how I like cupcakes to be all hard and crunchy on the outside with a spongy middle.
Once cooled I added on some ready made icing and placed a slice of lemon in the middle. I know the icing looks rubbish but I'm really not that good at it haha!

Here's the finish product and they were yummy, a refreshing after dinner treat.
It been a pretty successful cooking day as both things turned out really well, this isn't always the case. so I'm really happy about that!

MOMMY'S BEEN OUT!!!

I hear you saying Mommy is American, why have you put that? The thing is, that is what Alex calls me. No idea why but I go with it!

Yes Yes, I realise it seems I'm going out alot this month meeting friends for food and drinks etc, but due to work circumstances with myself and Alex's Daddy, I like to make the most of the free time as there are a lot of times throughout the year when my time is dedicated to going to work and looking after Alex. Take Christmas for example, I didn't see any friends the whole of December, and not until the 27th did I see any family either. So now business isn't busy there's the extra time to go out and spend time with friends. We all need to sometimes see our friends right?!

So remember me telling you I was going for dinner on Thursday? It seemed to have turned into a dinner and cocktail night, we stayed out way longer than expected! But was so fun and chilled at the same time. I've been a bit stressed recently with this and that, I think this is just what I needed as I'm feeling slightly more myself :)

These are just a couple of picture of some cocktails we had in 2 different bars.
On the left is a raspberry mojito (wasn't one of my faves, too many seeds in it) love the jars they were served in though, really cool! On the right, something called In The Pink. All I can remember about this is its mixed with rose wine and vodka, not sure what juice. But it is one of the nicest cocktails I've ever tried really sweet with a good kick from the wine.
If you have a Fat Cat Bar in your home town I'd recommend finding out if they do this drink and give it a try! Also see if they have deals on, we got ours 2 4 1 so ended up with 2 different of cocktails, this is just one, the other tasted like a drumstick lolly.

Although these 2 pictures don't cover half the cocktails we had! Alcoholics right?! Nah, we both actually felt okay, I think its because we had dinner first.
What's your favourite beverage?

I didn't take a photo of what I wore as it was a really cold night and with not expecting to stay out so long I just wore black jeans and khaki jumper, nothing special. Although I did op for heeled boots just to jazz the outfit up.

I love these boots, I bought them one day when I was looking for some boots for a birthday dinner, but it was cold so wanted something to cover my whole foot and didn't want a thin heel as I already have a couple of pairs of shoes like that. So went for these something a bit different but... they go with most things whether your dressing up or down. I purchased them from New Look in November so not sure if they'll be available now.
In fact thinking about it, my whole outfit was from New Look haha, I'll try get pictures of the other items.

Writing this, I realise I didn't get as many pictures as I would have hoped, but we were just too busy chatting and having a good time. My brother did receive a few snapchats though! Got way too carried away with time, must of been about 2 when I got home! (naughty me! long time since I've done that) Little Alex was awake with Daddy, so after showering we went to bed and watched a film.

As a Mummy (or Daddy) we dedicate a lot of ourselves to our children all through the day and night,  and some parents don't have a lot of support around them. But for myself, as my little one is getting older I'm realising it is okay for me to take that little break, sometimes it could be days or sometimes its month where I can go out without him.
But even if you are unable to go out I really suggest that its okay to do something for yourself whether that's daily or weekly, however your lifestyle works for you.
Some ideas, could be having a bubbly bath, reading, watching something you choose to watch, going out for a coffee, changing the way you do your make-up, treating yourself, anything you want to do. Be kind to yourself. What do you like to do?

WEEKLY WONDERS - COLD WALKS

Its that time of the week again when I fill you in of all the going ons of the past week.
For those of you who haven't seen the first one, I thought I would do a post every Thursday filling you in on the previous week as I'm not always around :)

*This time last week in the evening I met my friend for a couple of drinks - it was such a laugh! (and again I forgot her Christmas present, so so bad!)  I feels really good to be spending some time with my friends after not seeing anyone for over a month due to Christmas work commitments, very busy period. Tonight I'm off for dinner... yummy!

nice pouty pik for you with ink eyeliner
collection 2000
*Over the weekend just saw me spend a lot of time at work so not much to report back there with, and when I wasn't at work I was chilling with Alex and doing homely things.

* This leads me onto telling you all Alex was really unwell at the beginning of the week (sad face) I thought it was another bought of bronchitis, but after trying all the tricks such as; Steaming up the bathroom with the shower, Baby Vicks on feet and chest, sleeping propped up, olbas oils placed in hot water and placed in a room, that usually help he didn't seem to be getting any better.  After a trip to doctors turns out its a chest infection, poor little thing. But he's on the mend now, slowly but surely :) On my way to the doctors I thought I would wear some new trainers I got for Christmas to keep my feet warm seen as it had been snowing that weekend, what a bad decision that was!!! My poor feet are still badly cut, bleeding & blistered now. Sadly, with my job being a standing one they haven't had the chance to heal!! But hey, keep powering through right? :) Yes.
With looking after Alex I haven't had a lot of time to play with my make-up and do it all. I've just been going straight to the ink eyeliner and missing out the eyeshadow. Its such a quick and easy look for me as been doing it for so many years. Maybe around 8years now if your interested! haha. Its only recently I've started experimenting with different things.

* I made a really nice roasted red pepper risotto yesterday, I'm really proud of it as its the first risotto I've made with out a jar mix haha.

View from a bridge
* Been doing a lot of walking as I feel the fresh air (really cold) really helps Alex with his chest, not my poorly feet but that's my exercise for the week haha, I'm lucky to live near a river, so its always nice to have a walk along there. Its best in the sun though!

I'm wanting to start doing some exercise again but I only really have when Alex goes to sleep to do it as he likes to push me out the way haha. But by then I'm way too tired to find the motivation to start. Do you exercise? I want to get the Charlotte Crosby DVDs and give them a whirl. Have you seen these and given them a try?

I'll leave you all there with that, I'm currently catching up on Mr Selfridge as I'm sure I fell asleep so don't really know what's going on. Next thing is to look into Intensive Driving Courses.

SNOW OVER IT

We've had SNOW here, have you ? Cue all the posts and my blog post about it haha! Its always late for Christmas!!

I was at work when it began last night, I love watching snow fall its magical. If only I lived in the countryside it would be so much better :) a lot more white and wonderful. But hey ho I'm actually quite bored of it now, its all slushy and gross. Will we have anymore? I'm not sure.

Alex and I did take a nice stroll to the shop this afternoon which was nice as this is the first time he's walked in the snow and been able to acknowledge it. Last year when it snowed on Boxing Day he didn't really know what it was and had no real interest. This year the difference was immense with him telling and showing me what it was. Its just another 'look at how much you've grown' moment.
Nonetheless we enjoyed it!
Athough next year I must get myself some snow suitable footwear!
But that's enough about the snow, I'm ready for the lighter nights, warm weather, summer breeze and all that jazz, what about you?

As I'm writing this we've been watching Hotel Transylvania. (love it!) at every opportunity possible I will watch a children's film haha! Really need to watch the 2nd one really. My living room is destroyed with toys so I guess its time to go tidy up, and get cosy in our PJs, maybe watch another film under the duvet. Even contemplating making a hot choc, but I have no cream....WHAT!? pop that on my shopping list.

Just a short post for you all as I've been away for a couple of days (busy with work really) But with only working around 5 Saturdays a year I can't really moan :)

Show me your snow pictures below, comments and shares

WEEKLY WONDERS

So I thought that since I've began posting my blog posts between Thursday and Sundays that on a Thursday I would do weekly catch up, fill you in on the goings on. Let me know what you think of this idea?
I'll warn you now, sometimes I'm quite busy sometimes I'm just busy being a Mummy and going to work in the evenings (boring stuff!)

So on that note.... this week...

*Last Thursday I went out for a meal with one of my best friends who I hadn't seen in such a long time, we actually exchanged Christmas gifts, but silly me forgot hers. Bad friend I know :( seeing her tonight so I've made a note to remember to take it with me! I got the beautiful anklet that i posted a photo of and also a nice Necklace from River Island.

* On Saturday we visited (Little one, Daddy & I) Birmingham Sealife Centre which was an interesting day to say that least aha. It was packed but still very fun. Little one kept running off to look at something completely different to what I was looking at, he also insisted on trying to push his pushchair around mean he kept knocking people with it as he cant quite see where he's going just yet, just a bit too little. Although now he's 2, I feel he's too big now, with his running around and beginning to have understandable conversations with him. I want my baby back!! haha :)
I don't drive yet so we had to get the train there, easy journey, tying to find the Sealife centre was a nightmare...even with the satnav on my phone it was just as difficult. However, walking back to the city centre a completely different way was so easy. The directions are now imprinted in my mind so I don't get lost again haha!

* Sunday was a total chill day as we all felt really tired from the travelling and lots of walking we did around Birmingham. We did have cake for breakfast though... yummy yummy in our tummies haha

*Monday I did some boring household shopping then went for a couple of drinks after work with is a novelty for me as before the New Year I used to work Monday nights. Reading that back I realise it sounds quite sad, but sometimes its nice to just have that little break.

* For the rest of the week all I've really done is homely things, cooking, cleaning and going to work in the evenings. I made some fruity pancakes for breakfast yesterday, which were yummy, different from having jam or chocolate on. One step closer to being a little healthier :) (keep dreaming)
Now, I've also just finished making a Jamie Oliver Meatloaf. I've got to say was really nice, next time I might brave it and add the chilli as didn't this time but I do think it needs that little kick!

This week also say my Blog reach its 1st MONTH BIRTHDATE! Thank you all for the support and encouragement, never thought I would have made a month!! See you again in 11months for my year birthdate

Some pictures from my week below :)

WHY ARE YOU SO BORING?

This is a different type of post I'm writing today, its something that I can hope to look back in the future and it can help me again and hopefully some of you guys as well. I'm in no way looking for a debate but completely understand we all have our own views and ideas :) your more than welcome to share.

In our jobs, relationships, families and any other groups we may be involved in we come across those people who don't like us for being us. For years now, I've been at the hand of some ridiculous comments to my face and behind my back on how I shouldn't be the way I am because it doesn't suit them. Personally, I think if your not breaking the law or doing any damage to yourself why can't you be yourself? No one is perfect, right?!

Sometime in September I made the final decision it was time to start doing things for myself instead of behaving and acting a way that people expect me to be just because they say so. I mean c'mon I have a little boy I need to protect now too until he's older I have to make the choices for him

To the Mummy's and Daddy's reading this who get told there doing a bad job, let me assure you are NOT! It is a total learning curve between you and your little one, who learn together and battle every single obstacle together. Yes we all get extremely upset and frustrated but I bet there are way more GREAT memories. I have so many!
To those who say you are boring because you choose your little ones and families over going out clubbing every weekend its your choice they have no right to judge us. If you are going out, that's okay too, we all deserve a break!
To those who are told they work too much I bet your doing what you have to do to make sure you can provide for your family, people should ask us before judging, right?

To everyone else reading this, if people have said your too harsh, too nice, too fat, too skinny, selfish, poor, rich, cold, not affectionate, too affectionate, boring, no personality, crazy, old, dreamy the list could go on; I believe no one can get the balance right and you shouldn't be expected too as well. You are who you are and you shouldn't change because people are saying these things. Do what makes you happy! It doesn't matter if your too direct in a conversation but it also doesn't matter if you choose to be quiet. There are so many comparisons I could give you.
I've found being compared to someone else that its the worse thing another person can do, I mean what 2 people are the same, even twins have differences.

Please believe in yourself and do the best that you can no matter what to outcome because sometimes we do make the wrong choice but we will overcome that! Don't be forced to make a choice because someone else has given their opinion.

Not everyone will agree with the things you say or how you speak or act, but that's what makes us all different, you should trust yourself as only you know how your really feeling and don't back down and feel your views and opinions don't matter.

Please forgive me as this may be complete gobbldy gook to you reading it, some of it is to me too, but its there for me (and you) to look back on when I'm feeling down about the way I'm perceived.

Thanks for reading I hope that if it just helps one person that is just amazing!

Love to you all xx

NEW TO LOOKING AFTER MY FACE

So this year I made the decision to start taking a little it more care of myself especially by skin as around 4 years ago I used have a pretty good night time routine that I stuck by. But that's been neglected for quite a while now due to one thing and another. Now I'm a little older (and wiser haha) think its time to create myself a new routine and take more care of this skin of mine :)

When out shopping in Boots Drugstore for my Masque Bar eye patches I had a look at some exfoliating and moisturising products for my face.  I've suffered so badly with outbreaks on my face with wearing more make up and eating rubbish food over Christmas, my skin likes to retaliate :(
I ended up buying 2 NIVEA products and have been using them as directed religiously since I got them

This is the exfoliating scrub I picked up, with it being a gentle exfoliating scrub is what attracted me to the product and encouraged me to buy it as I didn't want a heavy product with only just starting out with my skin again.
I've found this really good, it says to use on a wet face so I personally find it easier to use in the shower on an evening eery other day. After using it I can't describe how soft and clean my face feels but its definitely a refreshed feeling. My skin has started to clear up now and i feel its down to this product clearing out all the pores :)

I started out using this straight after getting out the shower on a dry face then washing it off as directed. But naughty me forgot to do it last night so I did it this morning left it on for around 5 minutes then washed it off in the shower. My skin is certainly thanking me for that today! It feels so soft and cleansed. Over the last couple of weeks I'e been suffering with a dry forehead and since using this every other day also that has now cleared up, so the moisturising agent has done its job!
Defeating the object but I'm yet to put my make up on today but I feel like my face is ready to go.
I love how this one smells its so soft and gentle I can only describe it of smelling of baby lotion.

Leaving my face make-up free has also helped my skin breathe.
I'll continue to use these products till there all gone, but still toying with the idea of sticking with what I know or trying something different.

What facial products do you use? Any tips to share?

HMM DARK CIRCLES......FIRST ATTEMPT

This is a bit of an open post for me that I'm quite nervous about as well... its my face haha!

So we all know that I have awful dark circles under my eyes, I HATE them! I have them all the time, tired, not tired I think it could just be my skin but whose to say I can't try and reduce them. For a month or so now I've been looking at products mainly in Boots Drugstore just trying to decide which one could possibly work. So yesterday I took the plunge and chose one. I went for 'Eyetreat Spa' by Masque Bar.

This is what it looks like if you want to go and get some for yourselves :)

As you can see it says dark circle reducer which made me so excited as at last mine wouldn't be so prominent. It gives a little explanation of what the patches set out to do, diminish the appearance of dark circles and Vitamins A & E are used.

From the picture these are little eye patches to put under the eye for 30 minutes or overnight.
In this case I chose to use them for 30 minutes just incase my skin didn't agree with the product, can never be too careful sometimes!

TOTAL posey picture haha, but thought I'd show you all what they look like on!
So I popped these on where my dark circles are.
At first it felt so strange as its a cold wet patch, but after they'd been on for a couple of minute it felt quite tingly, felt like they were doing something.
I kept these on whilst writing  bits in my new diary and just chilling around on my bed with a film on.

After the 30 minutes were up, I went and took them off. To be honest with you I didn't see a mass improvement, but felt good having them on all the same. I'm not one for giving up after the first try so seen as the packet contains 5 treatments next time I'm gonna give these a go over night and see if i can see a better improvement. If not well, time to try something else.
I am also experimenting with other bits of make up to see if this can help cover them, but I don't always want to e wearing make up to cover my dark circles haha

I'm sad that this hasn't been a great experiment with the product but on a lighter note I am going to try again, although that will probably be in a couple of weeks when things are a little more relaxed around my house. Keep posted to see if it works then :)

Let me know of any products you have tried and I'll see what I can do, Thanks

YORKSHIRE PUDS

Gonna do a food post today! I didn't get chance to make any Yorkshire puddings at Christmas as dinner just went out the window with not being at home, so I thought I would make my Christmas dinner for New Years Day.
I know the both are usually similar but at New Year I always have a different meat, vegetables etc just to change it up abit! Sometimes don't even have a roast dinner with having to be at work, so could be anything on New Years Day really haha buffet style is always a winner!

Those of you who have children this is a good recipe to get them to help in the kitchen. My little boy just LOVES mixing things and I like that he's learning to help and developing his skills.

So to create the batter mix I just added flour eggs and milk together and whisked together with the help of my little one.
Now I'll be honest with you, I do need to invest in some scales as I just freely decide what I need, sometimes its too much, too little or just right. but you can find loads of measurements via the internet.

I then used some butter to line my muffin tray, you can use oil but I prefer butter.

Then add your batter mix into the tin.
Cook in the oven at 180 degrees for around 20 minutes until golden or how you like your Yorkshire puds as we like to have ours just cooked, good tip to remember is not to keep opening the oven so that they rise.

These are our finished ones, crispy on the outside and just done on the top and middle, this is how we like them. Obviously tailor to your own liking.
Perfect for a Sunday dinner, and I also use this recipe to make Toad in the hole, another favourite.

Yum Yum xx
