THANK YOU & BLOG GOALS

Who has New Years Resolutions?

I have personal goals and goals for this Blog!

Blog Goals

I'm going to take the opportunity to thank you all again for the amazing support I have received that is making this blog so enjoyable for me to do. With reaching up to 7 countries a week and getting closer to the 1000 page views mark, each and every one of you have helped me achieve this, so I THANKYOU more than ever! Even though I've only been doing this for a short amount of time its been more successful than I imagined.

So next year, I'd like to see this blog take off more, so I'm going to take some time to plan and create blogs to suit many peoples interests. If you have something you'd like me to talk about, let me know and I'll look into it. I do already have a couple in mind. I actually need to invest in a diary pretty soonish so I can get jotting down all these ideas!
I have plans to make the blog more organised and blogs going live at certain times of the day as then makes it easier for myself and all you guys to keep track of when blogs are going live!
Theres talk of me doing a collab video with daydaylou, which will be scary haha!

I look forward to all your continued support, like, share and comment as much as you wish.
THANKS AGAIN

Can't wait for 2016! xx

CHRISTMAS BREAK AND CHILL TIME ACCIDENTS

Many of you know I've been away for a couple of days with family for a mini after Christmas break. I've got to say it was so nice to get away from Nottingham for a while, we visited Butlins at Skegness and even though Christmas was actually technically over, it was still so wonderfully decorated. I usually visit in the early summer so was nice to see it how it all looks at a different time of year.
Weather held out too, I believe we didn't get any rain the whole time we were there, Although  very breezy, but seen as we didn't spend a lot of time outside this wasn't an issue, coastal winds can be quite nice and fresh anyway!
Some of the cute decorations around the pavilion!

I find there is so many activities to do, especially if you've got little ones, from swimming to amusements, bars and coffee and live shows, just about something for everyone!
We had such a lovely time making the most of our time out which included a lie in or 2!
I took my little boy to the play centre which has got to be his most favourite, you could see him exploring and getting more brave to have a go on the bigger obstacles. He had such a great time and totally worn himself out. It was nice to see him enjoying himself. We all had a go at the amusements as well, who wouldn't?

I did love this game at the amusements, its just accepting the numbers that match your board and rejecting those that don't. Not everyone's cup of tea but I enjoy them haha :) my little boy enjoyed playing the 2p machines as did my cousin. They each won some mini prizes too, which is always an added bonuses when you have children. Makes me all worthwhile seeing them smile and excited about this things.

I didn't visit the swimming pool or beach this time as just too cold, but looking at going again in the summer so we will definitely be doing those things

CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? All but 1 of us had accidents!!
Dana my cousin walked into a door as just missed the glass, bless her
I bashed my head on a metal stair case as wasn't looking in the right direction and bumped into a table while out for dinner, now modelling the perfect bruise to remind me
Little one had a couple of knocks and trips and his legs are certainly showing it, but he's okay!
So a big well done to my Aunty, Sharon, For keeping safe with no accidents. Yay!

So, since getting back just been busying myself at home, all the Christmas decorations have been taken down and I changed my bedding to my new duvet set as I was just so excited I couldn't wait. Plus I love getting into bed in fresh PJs and duvet set. Best feeling, right?

Feeling all  refreshed and ready to go into the new year and conquer my goals!

Whilst writing this I've been watching Dirty Dancing, one of my faves! what films are your favourites?
So excited to go to bed tonight! xx

DECEMBER HAUL

Somewhere in December I subconsciously decided this would be the month I'd treat myself. Which is strange because I don't really do that very often. A couple of things have been for myself but its mainly bits for around the house.

Do you remember the wall plaque in my previous Birthday Haul? I finally got another and got them up on the wall above my bed. I love them, ones inspirational and the other reminds you to relax, perfect balance :)

I also got myself some new cushions for my living room sofa, as my old ones needed updating.
These fit nicely in with the colour scheme of my living room with a bit of each colour in them just ties the room together. It's a tweed design on the front with the colours (Teal and Beige) entwined within each other, with a block teal panel on the back.
Large comfortable cushion, only now I'm too afraid to sit on them incase they get ruined! silly eh?
You can find these in NEXT, if you want to go and have a look, they also have this design in another colour.

Then in yesterdays boxing day sales I came across a bed set that I just had to have. I've been wanting to tart up my duvet sets for a while but hadn't come across I liked till today as its just so colourful, something different to what I would usually choose.
Starting to love this pattern more and more. I got this from BHS.

Also with my holiday coming up (yay going today!) I've been having the difficulty of deciding what clothes to take. However, I did have 2 definate contenders in the top department that I has purchased this month. Both are off white in colour but when buying them I thought at least they will match most trousers. Can't wait to wear them and add some accessories.

I purchased this from NewLook, which is a short- sleeved slouchy T-shirt, which is always good for if you feel like having a big meal.
I love the stripes and quote that just jazzes it up a little more.
My fave out of the 2!
With a black jeans and blazer this could also pull off a smart look.

I got this yesterday also in the boxing day sales. Another off white short-sleeved top. This one is a little more fitted than the above with some beautiful embroidery on the sleeves and around the neckline

( sorry the picture doesn't do it much notice)

This was from Dorothy Perkins.

On that note, I'm currently getting ready to leave for my holiday and just can't wait for the change of scenery, fun and relaxation! #bliss

HOPE ITS BEEN A GREAT CHRISTMAS, CATCH UP

Helloooooo Everybody

I knows its been a couple of days since I wrote, been up to quite a lot.
How was everyone's Christmas? Full of fun and laughter I hope!

Me, well mine was okay! Some of you may know and some of you may not. but I have a little boy coming up to the age of 2 very soon. However, on Christmas Eve he was taken into hospital and wasn't back home again till 3ish pm on Christmas day. But all on the mend.
Although this experience meant we missed most of Christmas and didn't get a proper dinner as had no time to cook it! But, we made the most of the time we had and opened all our gifts, which I can say we were more than spoilt this year and are very grateful for all that were received from all our family and friends and had buffet style food for our Christmas dinner. But that's all I'll say on that.
So now knowing I have a little boy it also means when writing these I'm usually wiping runny nose or playing games with his toys haha!

We received way more chocolate than expected so got enough to last us till maybe Easter? I hope, if not tempted scoff all in one go. Wish me luck! As you can tell we've already dipped into the biscuits, yummy!

I also received one of my favourite things bed socks! I got so many pairs that I have so many to choose from, now I need new PJ's to go with all my socks.

Looking forward to my break away tomorrow. It means lots of amusement playing, eating out and just chilling out before the new year starts. Can't wait! Currently half way through packing my bag with essentials but now stuck on what clothes to take! I'm sure I'm not the only one who struggles when it comes to packing clothes?

Hope your all having a lovely evening :)

WEIRD EYE EXPERIENCE

Evening Everyone,

I feel like its been ages since I've wrote a post, when really its not been that long. But in the run up to Christmas we're all just finishing off those last bits to make Christmas day extra special.

So, i finish the Christmas gifts shopping, no last minute rush for me! It took quite sometime to find the perfect secret Santa gift I mentioned, i just really hope the person likes it! Now, all i need to do is the wrapping, do any of you personalise your wrapping paper by adding extra little touches or is it nice traditional wrapping paper? This year I'm going with traditional wrapping paper, However i have seen some amazing ideas on how to personalise and make your own that I will attempt to give a go in the future.

Yesterday I had an eye test and I've got to tell you it was the weirdest experience of my life!
I never realised how many tests you had to do before you can even see an optician. I've got to say having the air puff in my eyes during one of them was definitely not my favourite, it made me jump so much!
But, all this tests are compulsory and I made it through them all.
After seeing the optician, it was decided they'd pop some eye drops into my eyes that would dilate them, this was a crazy experience haha. I felt as my pupils got bigger I could see so much far away and around me, but when trying to message on my phone I had to hold my phone as far away from my face as possible as just couldn't see it up close. And just to top it off, it made me look ridiculous for the next few hours with mutant eyes!
Turns out, my eyes are quite healthy and normal!
Have any of you ever had this, how did you feel?

I went out for dinner last night with my Aunty Sharon and cousin Dana,(changed our minds about lunch)
We visited TGI Fridays,Food was lovely, cocktails were tasty and all had a good catch up. After Christmas we are all going away for a mini break, which we all so need and are looking forward to! We discussed a couple of the details and whatnot. But I still have no idea what to take with me!
I decided after my eye test and the drops I wasn't going to go for my usual black in eyeliner, so instead wore neutral eye shadow from my Maybelline The Nudes palette, mascara and a slight red lip

I used Rimmel Lip Crayon, The Redder the Better. I love this as you can build it up so either really subtle or really Red! but it also very long lasting.

Sorry it such a long one, I've just had a lot to fill you in with.
Please like and comment if you enjoyed this.

LATE BIRTHDAY HAUL

At the beginning of December presents my Birthday, this year i didn't do anything special, infact I spent most of the day painting my living room. I was so desperate to put my tree up but wanted the room to look fresh first, so I got that done and dusted.

However, I did receive some lovely gifts. Sadly I didn't get pictures of them all as I also received some gift cards, but ill talk you through some of the purchases.

I got these Pajamas with a gift card i received for Primark, thought i'd get some new ones as over the years i haven't worn matching PJ's and wanted to change that, weird eh? I've got to say my favourite of the 2 is the tartan patterned long sleeved PJ's. They are so soft (flannel material) and cosy, perfect for keeping warm this winter! Although not worn them yet as I haven't found it cold enough at night just yet. I reckon i'll end up wearing them for a lazy day at home. Really looking forward to that! The short sleeved soft pink set (cotton material) I have been wearing which i have found also very soft and comfortable. Although because i'm short the trousers are super baggy!! But that wont stop me wearing them, perfect for me right now.

Next, i went on to buy this picture with some money i received. I purchased this from Nottingham Christmas Market.
I absolutely love this quote as I love nothing more than doing things in my PJ's. Just love how comfortable it is. I mainly wear pajamas trousers all the time if I'm not going out anyway. So dressed from the waste up. I'm sure I'm not the only one, right?
This will be taking place above my bed, next to another one I am yet to purchase.

Maybelline, 'The Nudes' eye shadow pallet, is also a birthday purchase with money i received. This was purchased in the high street Drugstore Boots. I'm really into my natural eye shadows at the minute so when I saw this i just couldn't resist. i'm so excited to try these out in as many different ways as possible. The colours range from a very pale beige to goldy browns, a couple of those have a shine to them. I feel the very pale colours wont suit me as much but would be useful for a subtle smokey eye look for everyday. Something that isn't too dark. It comes with an eye shadow applicator but i much prefer to use a brush myself to blend the colours together.

I did receive many other gifts and this includes my favourite, perfume!
I got Jean Paul Gaultier Classique for Women, one of my faves, this has quite a strong and subtle smell, but i find it quite a particular smell that some people may find overwhelming.

I did receive a couple of other gifts but I don't want to bore you anymore with talking about how excited I am and how they're all my favourites because that's what birthdays are all about, getting everything you love :)

Although, i did get a big Chocolate Cake that I spent the next 2 days eating, was so yummy!

Much Love, Gracie x
