ORIGINS SKINCARE

Hellooooooo, I'm back with a little skincare post for you all

After seeing alot of raving about Origins products all over social media I just HAD to get some for myself to try out.

I thought why not get some products for what I thought my most problem areas are - dry patches on my cheek area and dark under eye circles that I hate ever so much.

- Origins GinZing refreshing eye cream

Got to say it does what it says on the tub, brightens and depuffs. I've definitely felt from using this in the mornings my eyes have been a lot brighter and refreshed. Sometimes because of my work pattern I have to mix it up and use this as part of my night time routine, and I've found dark under eye circles although not gone have been a little lighter in the way they look.
I do find the texture of the cream quite thick and it does look like a shiny film for a little while if you use it just on its own - which I don't see as a problem as always use a moisturiser afterwards which blends and works well.

- Origins A Perfect World Antioxident Moisturizer with White Tea
This stuff smells INCREDIBLE, I absolutely love it!! I can't describe it that well, sort of a tangeriney, sugary, sweet smell haha I don't know! But its amazing.
The texture is lovely, not to thick and not to light. My skin really soaks it in well and feels really soft, hydrated, lovely and refreshed afterwards. It certainly looks and feels healthier.  Even the dry patches on my cheeks is under control which is a plus.
Although I find it don't use this or something on it regularly it does come back but whack a little of this on overnight and its gone! Putting on my makeup has become easier to and looks alot better now my skin is properly hydrated.

As you can tell - this is definitely my favourite out of the two and will 100% be repurchased, but are both part of my daily skincare routine now

Have you tried these Origins bits? or any other products you recommend?
I'm itching to try something else

A NICE PLACE

Hey All, how are you?๐Ÿ˜€

Sometimes, its nce to find yourself a quiet setting to just relax in. If you have me on instagram ( which if you don't, you totally should btw๐Ÿ˜ƒ _gracie92 ) you would of seen I posted a few of these photos the other day.
I took a couple of hours out to go and enjoy the lovely sunshine we was having, have some quiet time and spend some quality time with my little one. We had a lovely walk around these garden by Nottingham Victoria Embankment, not entirely sure on there name. I really love it here, its so peaceful, still and calming - gives your mind chance to relax. Alex enjoyed it too, having a gander at all the different trees and surroundings. The water feature was his favourite, such a shame the fountains weren't on though to make it more magical. I love the sound of water fountains- bliss!
I'll be honest though, of course he had way more fun on the visit to the park afterwards haha.
As part of Mental Health Awareness week I'd like to stress the importance I find in having to have a quiet moment or a nice place to visit (not necessarily the gorgeous holiday we all dream of) just to recharge for  little, collate your thoughts and enjoy the surroundings... its weird I like this place as I'm actually not a huge nature lover. Maybe thats changing?

I had to have this moment, as I was over-excited and was also overly stressed at the same time and taking the time out to not think about those things for a little did a world of good! I felt ready to get my organising non jumbled thinking cap on afterwards for the exciting things that are about to happen soon!

We even saw a squirrel! Which as I got my camera out ran further and further up the tree, so I arrowed it to help you out haha

And of course, had ICE CREAM!
mhhhhmm!!

do you have a nice quiet place you like to visit?

SUMMER CLOTHING WISHLIST | BOYS

To continue with the theme, here's a follow on from my previous post, Highstreet Summer Clothing Wishlist because as much as I love buying clothes, I really really enjoy buying clothes for my little one too. Its more exciting buying for your kiddies I think! ๐Ÿ˜€
We already have a few bits left over from last year but whats wrong wrong with having a few more.
ps - his actual wardrobe has way more in it that mine haha!

GEORGE at ASDA

I'm really loving George and there T-shirts at the moment, some really cool patterns around to jazz up the summer outifit! I like adding fun to the outfit with a funky bright top. I'll be honest, I have already bought the bottom two t-shirts๐Ÿ˜€ I think the Nemo has to be my next one as I really love the pattern!

HandM
I COULD NOT BELIEVE MY EYES WHEN I SAW THESE FLAMINGO SHORTS, I was in awe! Only because now we can be all matchy-matchy as I've actually gone and bought the flamingo trousers in my wishlist haha

Next also have some lovely espadrilles and shoes that I want to invest in for the upcoming season. I'm a huge fan on next items for kiddies as they are good quality and seem to last Alex such a long time :)

Where do you shop for your kiddies clothing?

HIGH-STREET SUMMER CLOTHING WISHLIST

Who isn't always on the hunt for some new clothes? I know I always am, especially when the seasons are changing! Theres just so many pretty things about at the moment, here I've put together a few  alot of the things I'd really love to be wearing this year, mainly tops and most of it from New Look as I feel there killing it right now! So how about I start with the items from there๐Ÿ˜€

Quite a few different patterns and colours there but its good to have a mixture, something I've learnt recently as used to stick to what I knew and not venture out from my comfort zone.
If I had to pick my favourites; they are the Denim Shirt, White Crochet Kimono, Denim Jeans and yellow top. I mean, that was hard to choose haha!

I popped into our local store the other day on a whim and totally fell in love with this multicoloured dress! It'd be perfect for a beautiful summers day or on holiday dressed up or down!
Stripes seem to be a theme haha, I do really like them to be honest...

My love of flamingos continues to grow with these trousers, would look lovely with a cute white cami (heart emoji). On that note, River Island also have some cute camisoles at the moment but as I already have alot here didn't want to include more.

Probably a spend of a good £200 - best get saving for a huge shopping spree haha

As you can tell there are no shoes here, thats because I'm really struggling to find any I like at the moment, any ideas?

What would love to be wearing this summer? or have you brought any of these already, what do you think?

 Happy Shopping x

NEW L'OREAL BUYS | THOUGHTS

Two years ago I WOULD NOT have been to say I've bought a different brand of makeup to try. But now, I'm always on the hunt for something new.

These are a couple of my new recent pick ups by L'Oreal, A brand I'm really starting to fall in love with! (heart eyes emoji)
-  L'Oreal True Match Foundation in shade 2N Vanilla
- L'Oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara in Black

I'll start with the foundation :)

Wow, Don't think I've ever used a foundation like it before. When I first popped it on it was so light feeling compared to others I have used previously, not cakey like at all but decent coverage that hides all my blemishes, I have worn it all day (12+ hours) and its still be visibly on but the coverage worn off a little. It does what it says on the bottle, very blend-able with other products you wish to use to complete your look. I didn't notice when I got it but it has a slight glow/shimmery pigment within it that I really love as it give me a little extra brightness.
I've never said this about a foundation before, but I would happily wear this just on its own and no other face bits if was go for a natural day but wanted a little coverage.
My only little gripe is I did find it a little more watery than other foundations I have used and I seem to use a a few more pumps that I'm used to, so we'll see how long its going to last.
Other than that, it's still a foundation I would definitely recommend and also repurchase.

Now for the Mascara...

I always have trouble finding a mascara that adds extra curls, volume etc so always willing o try something new, so when I saw this on the shelves I just had to give it a try and I do like it! but its not a love product. The cutesy packaging is adorable and the curl roller brush on the wand really makes it different from the rest. I do really enjoy how it applies the mascara to my lashes.
I didn't feel any extra curling benefits from this but more the voluminous effect with every lash coated, opening up the eyes and lash lengthening. I found it drys well and lasts all day which is a great bonus but also so easy to get off at the end of the day.
I'll be honest I don't feel there is a lot to rave about with this mascara and not sure it'll be something I'll repurchase but its always good to give everything a go.

The great thing about both of these products is they are both under £10

Whats your experience with these or other L'Oreal products?
